Couples & Marriage Counseling
As a champion for the healing of relationships
through couples counseling, I am saddened by
the high separation and divorce rates in the
United States. Addiction, abuse, affairs,
financial difficulty, sexual intimacy issues,
and sexual addiction are seen to ravage couple
relationships today and contribute to divorce
and separation. While separation and divorce at
times may be necessary for the safety of an
individual and their family, I have also been a
witness to successful relationships that face
these challenges and commit to the couples
counseling process. Many of these issues are
driven by deep unmet needs, lack of
understanding and communication, and past abuse that can be healed within couple relationships. Couples can start a new legacy of mutual respect, commitment, and health not seen in previous family generations.
Until recently, the counseling community has not focused
enough attention on the couple relationship, but rather
trained marital and couples counselor, I have the ability to
view your relationship as my client and be your co-navigator
in healing your couple relationship. I am aware of the unique
dynamics of couples counseling and ready to employ
interventions that are scientifically proven to improve couples
relationships. It is my hope that more couples will make the
commitment necessary to their most important relationships
and enhance their quality of life and potential for long term
happiness.
